I'm 72 and have a heart condition. Do I qualify for coverage?
Yes. Everyone up to 79 years of age is eligible for WALKAWAY Protection, regardless of pre-existing health conditions. WALKAWAY 12-Month Complimentary is available for any age.
My diabetes puts me at risk of losing my vision and therefore my license too. Would WALKAWAY cover me?
Yes. You would be covered due to loss of driver's license regardless of your pre-existing diabetes.
My cancer is in remission so I'm thinking of leasing a new car. Will I be able to return the car if I get sick again?
Yes. If your illness leads to temporary disability, is deemed a critical illness or results in the loss of your driver's license, you would be eligible for protection and benefits regardless of whether your illness arose from a pre-existing condition.
I need a hip replacement and am awaiting surgery. Would I be covered for disability if I'm off work for over 60 days due to the surgery?
If you were scheduled for or advised of surgery prior to your policy effective date, you would not be eligible for coverage. Otherwise, yes.
My husband and I plan to start a family. What would happen if I had pregnancy complications that made me unable to work?
If a physical disability, including one related to pregnancy, prevented you from working for more than 60 continuous days after the policy effective date, you would qualify for benefits. However, the disability must have commenced after the policy effective date. WALKAWAY does not cover disabilities that existed at the time you purchased a policy.
